I'm mad on LMS Pacifics, in particular the Princess Coronation Class (check out www.prclt.co.uk). I think they might have been the most powerful locomotives ever made in the UK but because of the twists and turns on the West Coat mainline they couldn't beat the Mallard's speed record. The streamline version looks amazing. I've stood on the footplate of the Duchess of Sutherland when it was in the shed being worked on and it's huge. Have a look on Youtube and you can see some great footage of steam engines climbing Shap Summit - very cool!!
