Could someone please tell me WHY DID THE BLUEBELL RAILWAY BUY STAMFORD? It's industrial, which doesn't fit in with their collection, apparently (Err, do Baxter and Sharpthorn ring any bells?). Plus, she's at the perfect home (the Rutland Railway Museum though she's off site right now) with the perfect environment, but the Bluebell don't even wanna think about selling Stamford for some imaginary reason, it seems. Why don't they sell Stamford and use the money on one of their many projects? If she's sold to the Rutland it's a bonus, 'cos there's no transport costs involved, but if I were the Bluebell I would just sell her at the first (reasonable) chance.
P.S. Since posting Stamford has moved on site at the Rutland-28/05/10
